Massals ( identical Occitan or Marçals ) is a French commune with 100 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Le Haut Dadou (until 2015: canton of Alban ).

location

Massals is about 31 kilometers east-southeast of Albi . The Oulas rises in the east of the municipality . Massals is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Curvalle in the north, Miolles in the east and northeast, Montfranc in the southeast, Le Masnau-Massuguiès in the south and Paulinet in the west.
