Montrosier ( Occitan : Montrosièrs ) is a French commune with 33 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Administratively it is assigned to the arrondissement of Albi and it is part of the canton of Carmaux-2 Vallée du Cérou ( Vaour until 2015 ).

geography

Montrosier is about 42 kilometers northwest of Albi on the Aveyron , which borders the municipality in the north. Montrosier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Féneyrols in the north and west, Varen in the north and northeast and Milhars in the south and east.
