Cadix ( Occitan Cadiç ) is a French commune with 228 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Carmaux-1 Le Ségala (until 2015 Valence-d'Albigeois ). The inhabitants are called Cadixois .
geography
Cadix is about 28 kilometers east-northeast of Albi . The Tarn forms the southern municipal boundary. Cadix is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Dourn in the north, Réquista in the north-east, Fraissines in the east, Trébas in the east and south-east, Villeneuve-sur-Tarn in the south and south-east, Saint-André in the south and Assac in the west and north-west.
