Le Verdier ( Occitan Lo Verdièr ) is a southern French municipality with 224 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Vignobles et Bastides (until 2015 Castelnau-de-Montmiral ). The inhabitants are called Verdiérois .

Le Verdier is located about 29 kilometers west-northwest of Albi am Vère . Le Verdier is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Beauzile in the north, Vieux in the east, Cahuzac-sur-Vère in the southeast, Castelnau-de-Montmiral in the south and Sainte-Cécile-du-Cayrou in the west.
