Le Garric is located about five kilometers northeast of the center of Albi on the edge of the Cevennes Mountains. Le Garric is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Carmaux in the north, Rosières in the northeast, Valderiès in the east, Saussenac in the southeast, Lescure-d'Albigeois in the south, Cagnac-les-Mines in the southwest, Taïx in the west and Blaye-les-Mines in the northwest .

The national route 88 runs through the municipality .
