Marnaves ( Occitan : Marnavas ) is a French commune with 77 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Administratively it is assigned to the arrondissement of Albi and it is part of the canton of Carmaux-2 Vallée du Cérou ( Vaour until 2015 ).

Marnaves is about 30 kilometers northwest of Albi am Cérou , which borders the municipality in the east. Marnaves is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Milhars in the north, Mouzieys-Panens in the east and north-east, Labarthe-Bleys in the south and east, Tonnac in the south and south-west and Roussayrolles in the west.
