Fayssac ( Occitan : Faiçac ) is a French commune with 347 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . Fayssac belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the Canton of Les Deux Rives (until 2015: Canton Gaillac ). The inhabitants are called Fayssacais .

geography

Fayssac is about 57 kilometers northeast of Toulouse and about 14 kilometers west-northwest of Albi . Fayssac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Cestayrols in the north and northeast, Bernac in the east, Labastide-de-Lévis in the south and southeast, Senouillac in the west and Cahuzac-sur-Vère in the northwest.
