The canton of Gaillac is a French constituency in the Arrondissement of Albi in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . The main town is Gaillac . Michèle Rieux ( PS ) has been a representative in the General Council of the Département since 2008 .

Until the nationwide reorganization of the French cantons in March 2015, the canton of Gaillac included the twelve municipalities of Bernac , Brens , Broze , Castanet , Cestayrols , Fayssac , Gaillac , Labastide-de-Lévis , Lagrave , Montans , Rivières and Senouillac . Its layout corresponded to an area of ​​195.90 km 2 . Before 2015 it had a different INSEE code than it does today, namely 8112.
