Paulinet ( Occitan : Paulinhet ) is a French commune with 547 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Le Haut Dadou (until 2015: canton of Alban ). The inhabitants are called Paulinétois .

location

Paulinet is about 22 kilometers east-southeast of Albi . The Dadou River limits the municipality to the south. Paulinet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Le Fraysse and Alban in the north, Curvalle in the north-east, Massals in the east, La Masnau-Massuguiès in the east and south-east, Rayssac in the south, Teillet in the west and south-west and Villefranche-d'Albigeois in the north-west.
