Florentin ( Occitan Florentinh ) is a French commune with 680 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). Florentin belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Les Deux Rives ( Cadalen until 2015 ). The inhabitants are called Florentinois .
geography
Florentin is located about 50 kilometers northeast of Toulouse and about nine kilometers west-southwest of Albi . Florentin is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Marssac-sur-Tarn in the north, Albi in the northeast, Rouffiac in the east, Aussac in the south, Cadalen in the southwest and Lagrave in the northwest.
The A68 autoroute runs through the municipality .
