Castelnau-de-Lévis is a French commune with 1,594 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Albi-3 (until 2015: canton of Albi-Nord-Ouest ).
geography
Castelnau-de-Lévis is located about five kilometers northwest of the center of Albi on the edge of the Cevennes Mountains. The Tarn limits the community in the south. Castelnau-de-Lévis is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Castanet in the north and north-west, Sainte-Croix in the north, Cagnac-les-Mines in the north-east, Albi in the east and south-east, Terssac in the south, Marssac-sur-Tarn in the south-west, Labastide- de-Lévis in the west and Bernac in the northwest.
