Teillet ( Occitan : Telhet ) is a French commune with 443 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . The municipality belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Le Haut Dadou (until 2015: canton of Alban ). The inhabitants are called partletois .

location

Teillet is about 18 kilometers east-southeast of Albi . The Dadou River limits the municipality to the south. Teillet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Villefranche-d'Albigeois in the north, Paulinet in the east and northeast, Rayssac in the east and southeast, Mont-Roc in the south, Le Travet in the south and southwest and Terre-Clapier in the west.
