Terre-Clapier ( Occitan : Tèrra Clapièr ) is a commune déléguée in the French commune of Terre-de-Bancalié with 260 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) Tarn in the Occitanie region .

On January 1, 2019, the municipality of Terre-Clapier merged with Saint-Lieux-Lafenasse , Ronel , Roumégoux , Saint-Antonin-de-Lacalm and Le Travet to form the Commune nouvelle Terre-de-Bancalié. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. Terre-Clapier belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and was part of the canton of Le Haut Dadou .

geography

Terre-Clapier is about 19 kilometers southeast of Albi . The municipality of Terre-Clapier was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Mouzieys-Teulet in the north and northwest, Villefranche-d'Albigeois in the northeast, Teillet in the east, Le Travet in the south and southeast, Saint-Antonin-de-Lacalm in the south, and Roumégoux in the southwest as well as Fauch in the west.
