Ronel ( Occitan : Ronèl ) is a commune déléguée in the French commune of Terre-de-Bancalié with 334 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region .

On January 1, 2019, the Ronel municipality merged with Saint-Lieux-Lafenasse , Saint-Antonin-de-Lacalm , Roumégoux , Terre-Clapier and Le Travet to form the Commune nouvelle Terre-de-Bancalié. Since then it has had the status of a Commune déléguée. The municipality of Ronel belonged to the arrondissement of Albi and was part of the canton of Le Haut Dadou .

geography

Ronel is located about 16 kilometers south-southeast of Albi . The municipality of Ronel was surrounded by the neighboring municipalities of Dénat in the north, Fauch in the northeast, Roumégoux in the east, Saint-Lieux-Lafenasse in the southeast, Réalmont in the south and Lombers in the west and southwest.
