Courris ( Occitan Corris ) is a French commune with 80 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ). It belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Carmaux-1 Le Ségala (until 2015 Valence-d'Albigeois ).

geography

Courris is about 20 kilometers east-northeast of Albi . The Tarn forms the southern municipal boundary. Courris is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Cirgue in the north and west, Assac in the north and east, Villefranche-d'Albigeois in the south and south-west and Ambialet in the west.
