Milhavet is about 14 kilometers northwest of the center of Albi on the edge of the Cevennes Mountains. Milhavet is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Livers-Cazelles in the north and northwest, Virac in the east and Villeneuve-sur-Vère in the south and west.
