The State Fire Brigade School Regensburg is one of three state fire brigade schools in Bavaria and is located in Lappersdorf in the Upper Palatinate .
It was founded in 1931 as the first state fire brigade school in Bavaria and was originally based in Landshut . Since the premises there were soon no longer able to cope with the requirements, the school was relocated to Regensburg in 1937 . At first she was housed in the former district hospital in Stadtamhof . After the end of the Second World War , teaching was suspended from April 1945 to autumn 1946. Despite several extensions to the school, space in Stadtamhof gradually became too narrow, which is why in the early 1970s a completely new building complex on a 40,000 m² property in Lappersdorf was built.
Headmaster is Brandoberrat Rainer Emmerich.
