Salvagnac ( Occitan : Salvanhac ) is a southern French municipality with 1,184 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). The municipality belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the Canton of Vignobles et Bastides (until 2015: Canton Salvagnac ).

Salvagnac is located about 37 kilometers west of Albi and about 29 kilometers southeast of Montauban . Salvagnac is surrounded by the neighboring communities of La Sauzière-Saint-Jean in the north and northwest, Puycelsi in the north and northeast, Lisle-sur-Tarn in the east, Rabastens in the south and southeast, Grazac in the south and southwest and Montgaillard in the west.
