Cadalen ( Occitan : Cadaluènh ) is a French commune with 1,530 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016: Midi-Pyrénées ). Cadalen belongs to the Arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Les Deux Rives (until 2015: canton of Cadalen ). The inhabitants are called Cadalénois .

geography

Cadalen is about 50 kilometers northeast of Toulouse and about 16 kilometers west-southwest of Albi . Cadalen is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Lagrave in the north, Florentin in the northeast, Aussac and Fénols in the east, Lasgraisses in the southeast, Labessière-Candeil in the south, Peyrole in the southwest, Técou in the west and Brens in the northwest.
