Roquemaure ( Occitan Ròcamaura ) is a French commune in the Tarn department in the Occitania region (before 2016 Midi-Pyrénées ) with 450 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017). It is located in the arrondissement of Albi and is part of the canton of Vignobles et Bastides (until 2015 Rabastens ). The inhabitants are called Roquemaurien (ne) s .

Roquemaure is located between Toulouse and Albi . Roquemaure is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Montvalen in the north, Grazac in the east and northeast, Mézens in the southeast, Buzet-sur-Tarn in the south, Bessières in the south and southwest and Mirepoix-sur-Tarn in the west.
