Sainte-Croix is located about eight kilometers northwest of the center of Albi on the edge of the Cevennes Mountains. Sainte-Croix is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Mailhoc in the north, Cagnac-les-Mines in the east, Castelnau-de-Lévis in the south and Castanet in the west.
