Bournazel ( Occitan : Bornasèl ) is a French commune with 192 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Tarn department in the Occitanie region . It belongs to the arrondissement of Albi and the canton of Carmaux-2 Vallée du Cérou . The inhabitants are called the Bournazelois .

Bournazel is located around 28 kilometers northwest of Albi . Bournazel is surrounded by the neighboring communities of Saint-Martin-Laguépie in the north, Lacapelle-Ségalar in the northeast, Saint-Marcel-Campes in the south and east, Cordes-sur-Ciel in the south and Mouzieys-Panens in the west.
