The Vienna Brünner Straße station is an operating point on the Nordwestbahn in Vienna 's Großjedlersdorf district ( Floridsdorf district ).
history
In 1969 the stop was opened. Until 2016 that was operating agency rebuilt. This was done with a view to the construction of the Floridsdorf Clinic right next to it , after which a large increase in passenger numbers is expected.
construction
The stop is designed as a bridge structure and spans Brünner Straße at an acute angle. It has a 160 meter long central platform . The Floridsdorf Clinic has direct barrier-free access from the bus stop.
In the course of the new building, 1,900 new sleepers were laid and 1,100 linear meters of overhead contact line replaced. 725 tons of steel were used for the bridge and its reinforcement, plus 122 tons of steel for the platform roof, which has an area of 1200 square meters. A total of 5000 cubic meters of concrete was poured. The construction time was 24 months.

The Schottenring – Stammersdorf tram route is frequented in many ways. Line 31 is congruent with this route and runs at a low frequency . The "30er" is used as an amplifier route between the S-Bahn and U-Bahn stations Floridsdorf and Stammersdorf .
