Fall Time - Bloody Autumn (Original title: Fall Time ) is an American thriller from 1995. Directed by Paul Warner , the screenplay was written by Steve Alden and Paul Skemp . Mickey Rourke and Stephen Baldwin can be seen in the leading roles .

Friends Tim, Dave and Joe spend their final summer after high school together before parting ways. The rebellious trio are planning one last big prank by faking a bank robbery. The car of Dave's tyrannical father is supposed to serve as an "escape car", in order to bring him to explanations due to the upcoming investigations.
During the execution of their plan, however, they get caught in a real bank robbery by former prisoners Florence and Leon. Due to a mix-up, Leon becomes involved in the prank and Tim is drawn into the bank robbery.

- The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 1995 . Due to rather negative reviews, it was then released directly on video cassette in most countries , including in Germany on September 5, 1995.
criticism
The lexicon of international film saw a “dark and cynical gun story with no entertainment value”. Dennis Schwartz saw entertainment values like a promising story with clever twists and 1950s nostalgia, but criticized the script for not keeping the tension up. He found the ending pathetic and unconvincing. In addition, the homoerotic component of the film in general and the torture scene in particular is often pointed out.
