Life

Jason London grew up with his identical, 27 minutes younger twin brother, Jeremy London , who is also an actor, and younger sister Dedra in the states of Oklahoma and Texas . His sister died in a car accident in 1992.

London has been in front of the camera since 1991, which initially happened more by chance when he accompanied his brother Jeremy to an audition and was selected for a major supporting role in Robert Mulligan's drama The Man in the Moon (1991). He quickly achieved further success: in 1993 he played a central role in Richard Linklater's highly acclaimed coming-of-age film Confusion - the popular football player Randall "Pink" Floyd . This was followed by an appearance as a teenager who unconsciously falls in love with a drag queen, in the comedy To Wong Foo, thanks for Everything, Julie Newmar (1995), and the male lead in the horror film sequel Carrie 2 - Die Rache (1999) . In the miniseries Jason and the Battle for the Golden Fleece , he was seen in the title role of the Greek hero Jason in 2000 . In 1996 he was voted one of the 50 most attractive people in the world by People magazine.

Together with his brother, London was in a guest role in 2003 in the television series A Heavenly Family in front of the camera. Since the short film Last Stand in 2003, he has also appeared as a film producer. He co-produced the mockumentary To Kill A Mocumentary in 2004 and the comedy The Putt Putt Syndrome in 2010 with himself in the lead role. After Jason London was long traded as the upcoming Hollywood star, his acting career stagnated from the 2000s and he now mainly appears in B-movies as a leading and supporting actor.

London was married to actress Charlie Spradling from 1997 to 2006. The two have been parents of a daughter since 1996. In 2011 he married the actress Sofia Karstens, the couple separated in February 2014.
