action

Rachel Lang is an outsider at her school and, what no one suspects, the half-sister of Carrie who once caused a bloodbath. She is teased by her classmates. Her best friend Lisa commits suicide by throwing herself from the roof of the schoolhouse after one of the football players just took advantage of her - he and his teammates made a bet on who gets the most women to bed. Since she was a minor, he should be charged with seducing a minor, but the district attorney hides it over the political influence of the football players' families. Jesse, also a member of the football team, feels guilty and seriously tries to hook up with Rachel, but his friends have other plans. Since she cooperated with the police in solving Lisa's suicide, which is why they had difficulties, they plan to humiliate Rachel Lang as well.

At a private party that Rachel and Jesse are invited to, a secretly recorded video of Rachel and Jesse showing them having sex is shown. In addition, they reveal the whole truth about Lisa's death to her. Rachel, humiliated in this way, takes revenge - like Carrie once did - with the help of her telekinetic powers and destroys the entire villa by breaking out a fire and slaughtering the party guests. Shortly before Rachel also wants to kill Jesse because of his supposed humiliation, she hears in the video how Jesse confesses his love to her. The brief happiness is destroyed by a falling part of the ceiling: Rachel is trapped underneath. Jesse's attempt to save her fails; Rachel dies. Sue, who is on Rachel's side, also dies unintentionally as a result of her acts of revenge.

A year later, Jesse is seen sitting in his room at college, hallucinating with Rachel.
