Traudel Haas
Traudel Haas (born September 3, 1945 in Berlin ; born Gertraude Haas ) is a German actress and voice actress . After ten years as a member of the ensemble of the Berlin Schiller and Schlossparktheater , film dubbing became her professional focus. Haas' voice is best known for the numerous dubbing of American character actresses Annette Bening , Diane Keaton , Kathleen Turner and Kristin Scott Thomas .

The daughter of an opera singer left school at the age of 15 without a high school diploma. Thanks to a scholarship, she was the youngest student at the age of fifteen and a half, and from 1961 to 1964 she began a three-year training course at the Max Reinhardt School for Drama in Berlin. From 1967 to 1977 she was a member of the ensemble of the Berlin Schiller and Schlossparktheater . There she acted as Ljudmilla in Maxim Gorkis Wassa Schelesnova , alongside Stefan Wigger in Der böse Geist Lumpazivagabundus by Johann Nestroy and in Goethe's Faust. In the second part of the tragedy in The Money Lies on the Bank by Curth Flatow , she also appeared as the daughter of Rudolf Platte as Gustav Kühne at the Hebbel Theater from 1968 , and later on alongside Otto Sander in Shakespeare's As You Like It at the Free Volksbühne Berlin .
