action

Jules Ostin, founder and CEO of an e-commerce fashion company in New York , is hiring 70-year-old widower Ben Whittaker as an intern as part of a community project. However, she only has her work in mind and does not deal with the senior. Ben has to deal with modern working methods and technology. He is helped by some of the other employees, with whom he gets on good terms because of his special nature. Ben lets another intern live with him temporarily because he had to move out with his parents. Ben also meets the internet startup's divorced in-house masseuse, Fiona, and falls in love.

When Ben discovers that Jules' chauffeur is drunk at work, he steps in as the driver. During the trips together, the two get closer. Ben meets Jules' family and befriends their daughter. Ben tells Jules that he worked in their company's building for 40 years when they used to produce telephone books and that was one of the reasons why he applied for the internship.

While on an outing with the daughter, Ben accidentally discovers that Jules' husband is having an affair, but he cannot bring himself to tell her about it.

After careful consideration, Jules wants to win a new CEO for her company. After a few failures, she and Ben visit another CEO on a multi-day trip to San Francisco , with whom she finally does business. On the trip, Jules confesses to Ben that she knew about her husband's affair. She tries a fresh start with him and ultimately foregoes the support of the CEO because she wants to do it on her own.
