Anders Holm (born May 29, 1981 in Evanston , Illinois ) is an American actor , comedian and screenwriter .

Life

Holm grew up in his hometown of Evanston . After high school, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison . There he was also a member of the swim team. He then graduated from Second City Conservatory in Los Angeles .

Holm has been married to his college lover Emma Nesper since September 2011. On December 19, 2013, the two had their first son.

Career

Holm co-founded the sketch comedy group Mail Order Comedy with Adam DeVine , Blake Anderson and Kyle Newacheck . Together they developed the television series Workaholics , in which Holm, DeVine and Anderson also play the leading roles and which has been broadcast since 2011. In addition, he also appears again and again in smaller roles in television series. In 2013 he appeared in an episode of the television series Modern Family and played a role in The Mindy Project in ten episodes . Since 2014 he has also appeared increasingly in movies, such as Bad Neighbors , The Interview and You never stop learning .
