Celia Weston (born December 14, 1951 in Spartanburg , South Carolina ) is an American actress .

life and career

Celia Weston was established in December 1951 in Spartanburg in the US southern state born South Carolina and grew up here also. Even as a child she loved role-playing games with her sister and later appeared in local plays. She attended the North Carolina Salem College in Winston-Salem and then the University of North Carolina , where she studied drama. Immediately afterwards she went to London for further acting training . In 1977 she returned to New York and studied with the acting teachers Uta Hagen and Herbert Berghof. In 1979, then 28-year-old Celia Weston made her Broadway debut in Loose Ends alongside Kevin Kline .

Celia Weston made her film debut in 1980 in several episodes of the television series Ryan's Hope . She has since been in numerous films such as Dead Man Walking - His Last Walk , The Talented Mr. Ripley , Snow That Falls On Cedars, and The Box - You Are The Experiment . Celia Weston is preferably cast in supporting roles, but has a high recognition value due to her imposing appearance . On television, she starred in 90 episodes of the television series Imbiss mit Biss from 1981 to 1985 and from 2010 to 2011 in 20 episodes of the television series Memphis Beat .
