Fifty Shades of Gray - Dangerous love (Original title: Fifty Shades Darker ) is an American erotic film by the director James Foley from 2017 . The film is the sequel to Fifty Shades of Gray (2015). The script is based on the second part of the Shades of Gray book series by EL James .

Anastasia Steele is no longer a student, but works as a lecturer in Seattle . After Christian Gray suggested they meet one more time after their breakup, the relationship between the two begins again. However, this time Christian accepts that he no longer stipulates any rules that she has to adhere to. Over time, Ana learns more about his past. When two of his exes show up, Ana begins to understand that she is not the first to try to turn Christian into a different person.

The film was shot back-to-back from February 2016 with the third part of the series, which was released on February 8, 2018. Filming locations were Vancouver , where some scenes were recorded at North Shore Studios , and Paris .
