Rubina Kuraoka ( Japanese 倉 岡 ル ビ ナ , Kuraoka Rubina, born October 17, 1987 in Berlin ; real name Rubina Nath ) is a Japanese - German voice actress . She was best known for her speaking role in the series Yu-Gi-Oh! known, in which she dubbed Téa Gardner. Kuraoka also established himself as the German standard voice of Miranda Cosgrove and Karen Gillan . In 2013, she voiced Oscar-winning actress Lupita Nyong'o in the film 12 Years a Slave . She also lends her voice to the Indian actress Anushka Sharma . In 2015, she voiced Dakota Johnson in the film Fifty Shades of Gray .

biography

Rubina Kuraoka came through her mother, a production manager at the Bikini Studios / Kuraoka Entertainment , the voice acting . During her first synchronized recordings she was supervised by the dialogue director Harald Wolff and then took part in other productions in which Wolff was active as a synchronous director.

Kuraoka is best known as a spokesperson for animation roles. Kuraoka lent her voice to Yukino Miyazawa in Kare Kano , Sara in Angel Sanctuary , Ringo Noyamano in Air Gear and Yuzuriha Nekoi in X 1999 as well as Tsubasa Chronicle . In addition, she synchronized small, animated creatures, including Mokona from ×phia myself and Kyubey from Puella Magi Madoka Magica . In 2009 she was heard as Riful in the Japanese anime series Claymore and as Koyomi, who suffers from multiple personality disorder, in Zombie Loan .

Since 2005 she has been heard regularly as Littlefoot in In a Land Before Time and as Daphne in Scooby-Doo . Kuraoka also set music to some American actors , for example Miranda Cosgrove in Big Time Rush and in the series iCarly . She also dubbed Tea Marvelli in the Skins series .

Kuraoka is married to the actor and voice actor Tobias Nath . They have two children together, a son and a daughter.
