Alexandra Anna Daddario (born March 16, 1986 in New York City ) is an American actress .

Career

Daddario grew up in a family of Italian - Hungarian descent in the Upper East Side , New York City, and studied at Marymount Manhattan College.

From 2002 to 2003 she played the role of Laurie Lewis in 43 episodes of the soap opera All My Children . At the same time, she finished her education at the Professional Children's School. She was then seen both on television and in movies. In 2005 she took on a supporting role in the film The Squid and the Whale . In 2009 she was in the documentary film Jonas Brothers: The Ultimate 3D Concert Experience.

Daddario had various guest appearances in American television series, for example in The Sopranos , Criminal Intent , Law & Order , Conviction , White Collar and Life on Mars .

Her grandfather Emilio Q. Daddario (1918-2010) represented the US state of Connecticut in the United States House of Representatives from 1959 to 1971 . Her younger brother Matthew Daddario (* 1987) is also an actor, as is her younger sister Catharine Daddario (* 1992).
