The Avener

The Avener (2015)

The Avener (born January 23, 1987 in Nice ; actually Tristan Casara ), also known as Tyares , is a French DJ and music producer .

biography

At the age of six Tristan Casara learned to play the piano and received lessons in classical music and jazz. He also played in front of an audience and won several prizes. As a teenager, however, he turned to electronic music in the field of house and deep house and made a name for himself as a DJ. Among other things, from 2008 he was resident DJ at the High Club in Nice for more than two years . His trademark is the Keytar ( hanging keyboard ).

In addition, he began to write and produce music. He has released a number of singles with Serial Records and Sony Music and wrote two pieces for DJ Mathieu Bouthier , including Beautiful, sung by Sophie Ellis-Bextor .

Casara had his breakthrough in 2014 under the name The Avener . He turned the blues piece Fade Out Lines by Phoebe Killdeer and the Short Straws (Killdeer is also the singer with Nouvelle Vague ) into a dance number and thus had a club hit that made it into the French pop charts in April 2014. However, it took another four months for the dance version to become really popular and make it back into the top 100, and another month and a half before it moved into the top 5. In September the piece was also published in Germany. It immediately went to number 1 on the iTunes charts.

The debut album entitled The Wanderings of the Avener was released in early 2015 and entered the French charts at number 2.

In 2015, The Avener was the music ambassador for the FIA World Endurance Championship and played at every FIA WEC race during the pit walk on Sunday.
