Australian Recording Industry Association

The Australian Recording Industry Association , or ARIA for short, is a trade association that represents the Australian music industry . It was founded in 1983 by the music labels EMI , Festival , CBS , RCA , WEA and Universal and replaced the Association of Australian Record Manufacturers (AARM), which was founded in 1956. Your task is to record, administer and sell music licenses.

According to the company, over 100 members are part of the Australian Recording Industry Association. The members range from small record companies run by one to five people to medium-sized companies and large companies that operate internationally. The board consists of Denis Handlin (SME), George Ash (UMA), Tony Harlow (WAR), David Vodicka (Rubber) and Sebastian Chase (MGM).
