If You Had My Love is one of Lopez's most successful songs. On May 15, 1999, the single debuted at number 72 on the Billboard Hot 100 , in the second week it rose to number 56. In the third week, the song reached the top ten and rose to number 6. On June 12, 1999 it became the Number 1 hit, it was the first number 1 debut single since … Baby One More Time by Britney Spears .
