El mismo sol is the debut single by the Spanish-German Latin pop singer Álvaro Soler , released in 2015 . The song was a great chart success in several countries and reached number one in the charts in Switzerland, Italy and Poland. For the US market, the song was released as a collaboration between Soler and Jennifer Lopez .
Solo version
Like the entire album Eterno agosto , Soler recorded the song in collaboration with German producers and songwriters Alexander Zuckowski and Simon Triebel .
The official music video for the single was released on YouTube on April 24, 2015 . It shows Soler as a backpacker in different areas of Spain.

With his debut single, Soler reached high chart positions in several countries, including the top spot in Italy in May 2015, and a little later in Switzerland. For Triebel it was the world's first number one hit as an author or producer, for Alexander Zuckowski the second after Rise Like a Phoenix .
