The Nederlandse Vereniging van Producenten en Importeurs van beeld- en geluidsdragers (NVPI) is a Dutch trade association founded in 1973 with the task of representing the country's entertainment industry.

organization

The organization consists of three separate divisions, namely NVPI Audio ( music industry ), NVPI Video ( film industry ) and NVPI Interactief ( computer game industry ). NVPI Audio is the Dutch national group of IFPI , NVPI Video is part of the International Video Federation (IVF) and NVPI Interactief is part of the Interactive Software Federation of Europe (ISFE) . The NVPI has been giving awards for music sales and use since January 1st, 1978.
