Musiikkituottajat - IFPI Finland
Musiikkituottajat - IFPI Finland ry , Musiikkituottajat for short (in German music producer ), formerly also Suomen Ääni- ja kuvatallennetuottajat (ÄKT) is an organization that consists of 23 recording companies and represents the music industry in Finland . According to its own information, the association wants to "settle the political and cultural division in Finland" and "control music production and publication". Lauri Rechardt has been president of the IFPI country group since 2010.
Music charts and events
Since 1994 IFPI Finland has provided the country's official music charts, Suomen virallinen lista . The chart list appears weekly and represents Finland's most important single chart. Regular events of the association include the gala for the highest Finnish music award, Emma, and the organization of the Muuvi Award for the best music video of the year.
Limits to the award of phonograms
Musiikkituottajat has been awarding gold, platinum and diamond awards for music sales since September 1971. The diamond record was only awarded until December 31, 1988. In order to receive a Finnish musical award, the award limits listed here must be exceeded.
