Let's Get Loud is a song by the American singer Jennifer Lopez . It appeared on their debut album On the 6 in 1999 and was released on June 9, 2000 as the fifth and final single on the album. In 2000 Lopez was nominated for the second time for the Grammy for best dance recording after she had already been nominated for Waiting for Tonight the previous year .

history

The song was originally written by Kike Santander and Gloria Estefan for Estefan, who passed the song on to Lopez. In 2011 Estefan released his own version of the song. Let's Get Loud missed entry into the Billboard Hot 100 , but was featured in Billboard Dance Club Songs, where it reached number 39. In the US , Let's Get Loud sold 413,000 times.

Live performances

The official music video for Let's Get Loud was recorded at the 1999 Women's World Cup at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena . At the Super Bowl LIV halftime show , Lopez sang the song with her eleven-year-old daughter Emme Maribel Muñiz.
