The song was released in the spring of 2003 as the second single from the music album This Is Me ... Then . In mid-2003 the song became Lopez's fourth number one hit in the United States . The song uses a sample from Debra Law's 1981 hit Very Special .
The music video for the song was shot in New York City in November 2002 and released in January 2003. In the music video, Lopez and LL Cool J are lovers.
