The Let's Get Loud concert by American singer Jennifer Lopez consisted of two events, which served to promote her successful album J.Lo , and took place in San Juan , Puerto Rico at the Roberto Clemente Coliseum on September 22nd and 23rd, 2001.

background

In May 2001, Lopez announced that she was filming a concert special for NBC . After her appearance at the Video Music Awards 2001, Lopez announced that she will give two concerts in Puerto Rico . She said, "[...] Puerto Rico is my home, that's where I have my roots, that's where my family lives. I was born in New York City , but I was raised in a very Puerto Rican style. It's my home. To give my first concerts there is a wonderful feeling. "

The concerts represent Lopez's first stage experience since her musical breakthrough in 1999.

The concepts for the shows were created by Lopez's former husband, Cris Judd. He also worked as a choreographer with Eddie Garcia and Liz Imperio. Paul Pesco acted as music director.

After the performances, Lopez announced that he would start a world tour in 2002, but for some inexplicable reason it did not materialize.
