Just Dance (German: " Just dance ") is a dance-pop song by the American pop singer Lady Gaga . The song was written by Lady Gaga and produced by RedOne . Akon and Colby O'Donis supported Lady Gaga as guests. The song was released as the first single from Lady Gaga's debut album The Fame . Lady Gaga wrote the song in ten minutes. Just Dance has R&B influences. The text is about a visit to the night club .

Just Dance was a club hit in the United States and entered the Hot Dance Airplay Charts and Hot Dance Club Play Charts at number two in the summer of 2008 .
The song debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 76 on August 16, 2008. It reached number 2 on the charts after being downloaded 419,000 times in a week. In the same week, the song reached number 1 in the Pop 100.
The next week the song reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 after a long time; It had taken him 22 weeks to reach the top of the charts.
