Teeth ( English for teeth is) a song of American pop singer Lady Gaga , which on the album The Fame Monster has been released. Lady Gaga wrote the song together with Taja and Teddy Riley during the Fame Ball Tour . It was recorded at Record Plant Studios in Los Angeles in 2009.

Teeth got very different reviews. Some magazines named it one of the worst songs on the album, others called it good and described it as the original . Sal. Cinquemani of Slant Magazine said: "Teeth sounds like a track from Michael Jackson or Christina Aguilera's last album ". Simon Preis of The Independent described it as "foreign" and compares it to Ukrainian pop music. Mikael Wood of the Los Angeles Times said that Teeth was a very nice song in the R&B swing. Music OMH's Michael Hubbard described Teeth as the biggest surprise on the album and also found it to be a good song to dance to . Nick Hyman from Under the Radar gave a negative review . He said Teeth was the worst song on the album. Dot Music's Jamie Gill called the song one of the most eccentric songs on the album and said it was "just awesome".

Teeth has elements of pop and disco. He is comparable to Ain't No Other Man by Christina Aguilera . The introduction is “Don't be scared, I've done this before, Show me your teeth, Don't want no money”, which translates as “Don't be afraid, I've already done it, show me your teeth, not without Money". The phrase "Show me your Teeth" comes up repeatedly during the song. The song is written in 4/4 time with 132 beats per minute. The key is B minor. Apart from the digital engineering , the instrumental accompaniment is only provided by piano and guitar .

Appearances

Teeth is only sung as the seventh song on the Monster Ball Tour. Lady Gaga wears a black outfit during the performance. At the end of the song she starts bleeding. She also sang Teeth on The Today Show .

Music video

Although Teeth was not released as a single, a music video was shot under the direction of director Sergio Ceron. This video contains hints of SM games between two men. GaGa itself cannot be seen in the entire video. It is played entirely by two men. In addition, as an allusion to the title name ( English for teeth) vampire teeth can be seen. The video will not be televised on international music channels but has been approved and funded by Lady GaGa.
