Amina Hamza Mohamed El-Guindi (born September 18, 1942 in Cairo ) is an Egyptian politician .

Life

Amina Hamza Mohamed El-Guindi studied at the Helwan University in social work and was in 1987 at the University of Alexandria to the doctor of sociology doctorate . At Helwan University she headed the Office for Student Affairs, had a teaching position and was committed to women's rights. She was a member of the Egyptian Council for Women and the Egyptian Council for Childhood and Motherhood. She represented the Egyptian government in international committees on the rights of women and youth. She is married with a daughter and a son.

Amina Hamza Mohamed El-Guindi was Minister of Social Security in the Abaid cabinet from October 5, 1999 to 2002 . Apart from her, only the Minister for Employment and Migration, Aischa Abdel Hadi (* August 1942 in Cairo), was female. Amina Hamza Mohamed El-Guindi is a member of the Shura Council .
