Do What U Want is a song by the American singer Lady Gaga from her third studio album ARTPOP (2013). The song was released on October 21, 2013 and was only released as a promotional single for the album ARTPOP. Then it was decided to release the song as a single. A version with Christina Aguilera was later recorded.
On January 10, 2019, Gaga apologized for working with R. Kelly , who was one of the writers, and had the song removed by several music services. The trigger was the broadcast of the television documentary Surviving R. Kelly , which renewed earlier allegations of sexual abuse against Kelly.
