The song was written by Lady Gaga, DJ White Shadow, Nick Monson and Dino Zisis. It was later rewritten a little and then released on the Artpop album under the title "Dope" . The song was produced by Lady Gaga and Rick Rubin , who has produced earlier songs of her. On September 1, 2013, Lady Gaga sang the song I Wanna Be With You for the first time live.
