Without You is a song of the French DJ and producer David Guetta , which he , together with the US American singer Usher has recorded. The song was officially released on September 27, 2011 as the third single from Guetta's fifth studio album Nothing but the Beat . The song was produced by Guetta and the music producers Giorgio Tuinfort, Frédéric Riesterer and Black Raw.

Usher initially wanted the song to be produced as a title for his album. However, Guetta refuses. Guetta told Billboard music magazine about his song before it was released that it could be the best song he has ever produced. Guetta told MTV News that he wanted to record Without You with Usher because he was known for his successful ballads . Usher said of the song that by combining different genres like R&B , pop , house, and electronic music , the song is what music really is.

Music video

The video for Without You was filmed on a beach in Portugal. The video shows, among other things, excerpts from several parties in Thailand, the USA, Brazil and South Africa. At the end of the video, the continents merge and the parties merge into one big party. The official premiere of the video took place on October 14, 2011.
