Nayer Regalado (born August 2, 1988 in Miami , Florida ) known under her pseudonym Nayer , is an American singer , songwriter and model . She became known for her role on Pitbull's number one hit Give Me Everything (2011).

Career

Nayer began her modeling and acting career as a child, she was featured in various magazines and TV programs such as Alondra , Sábado Gigante and La piñata loca . Accompanied by her parents, she traveled to Los Angeles at the age of 14 to record a six-song demo. After sending the recordings to record labels, she was signed to the Latin music oriented label Sony Discos, which was looking for a singer for the song First Kiss (Primer Beso) . After Nayer recorded this song in English and Spanish at the age of 16, it hit the American dance charts after its release in June 2002. Due to business problems, Nayer's debut album was never released.

Nayer continued working as a singer and learned to play the guitar , the piano and songwriting , and she also worked as a model for various companies. In 2005, she replaced Candice Pillay in Stephen Stone's new girl group Anything But Monday , which signed a contract with Universal Music Group. They released their first single Buckwild in 2008 and their second single Bump in 2009 .

Nayer was discovered by Pitbull in 2008 when she won the Ms 305 contest, which was broadcast on Pitbull's Spanish broadcaster Mun2. Since then, Nayer has appeared in many different Pitbull music videos and sang on several songs on his albums Rebelution (2009), Armando (2010) and Planet Pit (2011).

In 2011, Nayer was the singer on Enrique Iglesias hit Dirty Dancer and on Pitbull's hit Give Me Everything , which became a number one hit in the United States. In July 2011, Nayer released her first single since First Kiss (Primer Beso) , entitled Suave (Kiss Me) . Rapper Pitbull and singer Mohombi are also involved in the song .

In July 2013 she released a new song called Body Talk with Jason Derulo on the internet. Derulo said in an interview with men's magazine GQ that the song was not official and that Nayer had stolen the part of Jason Derulo from another song. It also turned out that the beat of the song was copied from the song Enough Is Enough by Rock City .
