Disturbia is a song by R&B singer Rihanna . The song was released on June 2, 2008 as the 7th single from Rihanna's 3rd studio album Good Girl Gone Bad or from the re-release version Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded . The song was produced by Brian Kennedy. Rihanna introduced the song at the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles.

Disturbia was originally intended as a song for Rihanna's boyfriend at the time, Chris Brown . But then they decided on a female voice. Since Rihanna was very obvious through Chris Brown, she was quickly chosen.
Music video
The music video for Disturbia was produced by Anthony Mandler and, for the first time, by Rihanna himself. The video is referred to as a typical "bad dark girl video".
